It’s a record! 340 allied professionals, nurses and doctors attended the APF in Chicago today to hear 18 very varied and interesting presentations. The aim of the day is for health and social care professionals to help each other by sharing good practice, reporting and discussing what they did and why, and the results and outcomes they achieved.
The presenters from six countries covered topics including caring for the caregivers, training for front line staff, communication technology, gadgets and gizmos, palliative care, PEG, supporting children and families, reproductive decision making and exercise. This forum gets bigger and better each year and is a great way to share ALS/MND care and support innovations to help guide practice worldwide. The audio and slides were recorded and will be available online soon,
