A new national survey about depression has just launched. The MND Association is supporting this new priority setting partnership as we would like to know what questions people living with MND, their families, friends, clinicians and healthcare professionals have about depression. Depression affects 1 in 10 adults in any year, and can have debilitating consequences. The Depression: asking the right questions partnership is looking for people living with MND, their families, friends, clinicians and healthcare professionals who have experienced depression to take part.
We know that research can improve lives – improve diagnosis, treatments, care and prevention. But who decides what to research? What would make the most difference to people’s lives? There is no one better to help inform research than people affected, which is what this partnership aims to do. This new partnership is asking anyone who has experience of depression to take part by completing a short 10 minute survey. Submit your questions about depression at www.depressionarq.org.
